Cukar Rambut Ceremony

We had our Cukar Rambut Ceremony on the 23 OCt 2007 (4th mth celebration). Maternal grandma said that since we didn't cut our hair during our 1st mth, we had to do it on the 4th mth.

Early morning, daddy drove us to Chong Pang with 2 grandmas and mummy for our haircut. Didi Kacey was sleeping away, therefore when the hairdresser did the cutting, he simply bo chap. As I was wide awake, the razor was so loud that it scared me. I cried like nobody business. Grandmas and mummy had to pacify me but I still didn't stop. Although didi never made any noise at the salon, he cried when he reached home throughout the nite. Haiz.

After we reached home. Maternal grandma steam some fish and toufu. These is to symbolise "Nian Nian You Yu" and "Sheng Guan Fa Chai". Next grandma also rub some Chinese biscuit (Pong Bia) on our lips, this is to show that we won't be too greedy next time.









After the ceremony, maternal grandma presented us our new gift. 2 sets of new clothings with cap and socks. Even though we didn't know what this is all about, we don't mind as long as there's new cloths to wear can already.

First Car Ride out to Grandma's house

Izacz : We were so excited on the 19th Aug morning that we can't sleep well on 18th night. We were suppose to visit grandma as well as other relatives at MacPherson.

Riiinnnggggggggggggggg!!!! Mummy's alarm clock broke the silence in the cosy room. Daddy woke up with his groovy eyes (as usual) and mummy already brushed her teeth and preparing to dress us. Daddy promised to let me wear the black color "WILL WORK FOR MILK" t-shirt and Didi got to wear the white color piece. Daddy forgot to take pic of us. Haiz~

By 0800H, we were already in the car with our new car seats given by daddy & mummy's friends. Both of us fall asleep during the journey. I dunno how long it took but again I was woke up by the bark of I think it's called dog. Mummy introduced him to us as Elmo kor kor.

We were place in our new playpen in the living room. Without any further ado, all relatives flock in to see the "SUPERSTARS" with hongpau. Hee! Hee! Guess how much I collected??

Kacey: Grandma's house was praying for the Seventh Month on 19th Aug. As most relatives would be there that day, therefore we were requested to make an appearance. Upon our arrival, we could already see alot of vegeterian food being display, show u the photos later. Then Auntie Feng came, according to grandma, Auntie Feng is very experience in taking care of babies, she placed kor kor and me on our front and let our pi pi faced up!! Kor Kor has the nicest shot on his pi pi. Auntie Feng said that we can train our neck by doing this but advise mummy & daddy not to do it as they do not know how to turn us.

We left grandma's house at 1400H as daddy had to report back to work at 1600H. Poor daddy.

New member of the family

Izacz & Kacey : Hey! It's grandma's birthday! (17th Aug)

Izacz : Uncle Zaki called this morning too. He told grandma that Yati had

already given birth to a baby gal!

Kacey : Yeah! I know. I'm no longer the youngest in the family. Yipee!! Mummy, grandaunt and grandma went to visit her in the hospital. Do u know that she look so cute and plump?

Izacz : {nod} I even know that she has the same birth time as ME!! And Auntie Yati had to go thru c-section in order to get her out.

Kacey : Grandma was so happy. First it was her birthday and secondly Auntie Yati gave birth. Oh! By the way, Uncle Zaki decided to call her Aoni.

Izacz : Aoni? The name quite difficult to pronounce. Aiyo, nevermind la. We will have a chance to meet her during Chinese New Year next time. Till then, we better build up our body size, heard she was already 3.1 kg at birth. We only 3 kg after 1 month of feeding. Jia You!!

Conversation of the 2 brothers

Kacey : Kor kor, I can't sleep yesterday nite. Our parents' room were so warm that even they switched on the fan, it didn't help at all.

Izacz : Don't worry la. Gong Gong already called the aircon man to come on Wednesday to repair. Till then, u tahan abit lo.

Kacey: Huh? Still have to wait that long ah? Tonight I'll hint daddy & mummy that I'm going to sleep with gong gong and Ah Ma, they have aircon in their room and I can sleep longer.

Izacz: Since I'm older than u, I'll let u have the chance to sleep with them la. I've already enjoy the cool air for the past 2 days when daddy was on viper duty. By the way, can u don't cry so much in the middle of the night? Really disturb my sleep le.

Kacey: U think I like to cry so much meh? There's so much wind in my tummy and it keep growling and growling. I fart and I burp and had insomia too, I'm the FBI u know.

Izacz: Ok la, u win lo.

Kacey: So much about me. I want to make a complain too. Do u know that u drank the last bit of mummy's breast milk? She expressed so hard and so pathetic that she only collected exactly 80ml that day and she gave it to u to drink. I can only lay on my cot and watch the milk flowed slowly down your throat.

Izacz: I thought u were sleeping while I was drinking the milk? And it was suppose to be a secret between mummy and me. Aiya, mummy said that since I'm lacking iron, therefore she gave me the milk lo. Hopefully that last bit can improve my health la. Don't talk so much already, let's sleep early and let mummy & daddy have a early night.

Kacey: Good nite Daddy. Good nite Mummy. Good nite kor kor.

Izacz: Good nite Daddy. Good nite Mummy. Good nite Kacey.

Yipee! Mummy created a blog for me!

IZACZ: Always wanted to write down my thoughts but there's no one out there to help me to create a blog. Today mummy finally created 1 for both my brother and myself. Let me introduce myself. My name is Izacz Ang, born on 27 June 2007 @ 0953H at KKH. I was seperated from mummy since birth cos as a pre-mature baby, my breathing system was not fully developed yet. After staying in hospital for 18 days, I was given the green light to go home on 16 July 2007.

The house was a total new enviornment for me. New bed, new pillow, new smell. It's so different from the hospital. I don't hear any babies crying anymore. I have a big bed for my own and new wardrode of all nice clothings.

Daddy & mummy planned a Baby Full Month party for me & Kacey on the 5th Aug 2007. They had invited all their friends from camp. We woke up early as grandma came in to bath us in order to prepare us for the big day. After that we were placed on our portable bed for "display". Yawn! I was so sleepy that I couldn't remember who came to visit us or took picture with us. All I know is that I slept pretty early that day and I couldn't bother less. Great aunt -------->

KACEY: Hi! My name is Kacey Ang and same as my brother I was born on the 27 June 2007 @ 0954H. I came back home later than my brother. I was only given the green light on 19 July 2007. During my stay in the hospital, I was in such a pain cos the doc and nurses over there kept poking needles into my small hands and legs. My parents were heartbreaking to see me in that state and I promised myself that I must get well soon and return home to join my kor kor.

Daddy was on viper shift for the past 2 nites. He had asked grandma to look after kor kor as mummy cannot handle 2 babies at nite. And yesterday nite, mummy's aircon broke down. After 10 mins of switching on the aircon, it's started to drip. Mummy had no choice but to on the fan for me. I was a little bit cranky as the weather was already so hot and the aircon was spoilt!! Luckily, mummy placed me next to her as she pat me off to sleep. I think she slept before me as I could hear her snore. Shhh!! Don't let her hear that.
