A Day at the Marina Barrage

Our family decided to visit the Marina Barrage today. Izacz and Kacey were both very amused with the mascot at the centre and Izacz immediately gave me this lovely smile while taking his photo.



Both enjoyed exploring all the exhibits.

Izacz : Did u enjoy the dinner tonight?

Kacey : Yes, I truly enjoy myself. I had satay, fried rice, tempura prawn, lots of juices ... ...

Izacz : Yeah, u greedy boy. I remembered u dropped a piece of grape and u went to pick it up to eat!! Yewwwww!!

Kacey : Nod, I know. I realised my mistake when mummy suddenly shouted at me. I had to spit it out immediately. By the way, u didn't eat that much right?

Izacz : Yeah, the food doesn't suit me, I still prefer Mah Mah's cooking, especially her porridge. I only took a small mouthful of fried rice and that's it.

Kacey : Speaking of that, what soup did mummy fed us ? It tasted funny.

Izacz : Oh! That! It's crocodile soup, suppose to help in coughing and asthma.

Kacey : OIC! Think we had enough talk. Better sleep early as we have classes tomorrow.

Izacz : Good nite Kacey!

Kacey : Good nite Kor Kor!

It's been so long since our last log in.

Izacz : Mummy been very busy and lazy for the pass 1.5 years. She has not been updating out blog.

Kacey : Yeah! We have taken so much photos and she's not doing her job. But I heard she's picking up her "writing skills" and doing for us now.

Izacz : I certainly hope she do it reguarly now. It's been so long since I've heard from other blogger that leaves messages for us.

Kacey : Don't worry, she's our mummy and u can rest asure. I'm sure bloggers would like to see our recent photos now. They miss us, u know.

Izacz : Grandma carrying me with Snowman at the background. Picture was taken at Marina Square, didi was sleeping after his heavy meal, so I have grandma to myself. Yipee!!

My First Christmas 2008

Kacey : Hey! Mummy is so excited about Christmas this year as Uncle Mic, Auntie Ching and Auntie Hwee Gor decided to visit us all the way from Penang!! She immediately asked for a BBQ session. Look how greedy I am sucking my thumb.

Izacz : Yeah, can see that mummy is so excited for the whole evening that she never even help out in BBQ-ing with daddy. Daddy got a black face after the event.

Auntie Ching : Can I bring him home?

Yee Yee Agnes : My "god-ma".

Izacz : See my poor daddy. He still have to put on a smile in front of the camera.

Cukar Rambut Ceremony

We had our Cukar Rambut Ceremony on the 23 OCt 2007 (4th mth celebration). Maternal grandma said that since we didn't cut our hair during our 1st mth, we had to do it on the 4th mth.

Early morning, daddy drove us to Chong Pang with 2 grandmas and mummy for our haircut. Didi Kacey was sleeping away, therefore when the hairdresser did the cutting, he simply bo chap. As I was wide awake, the razor was so loud that it scared me. I cried like nobody business. Grandmas and mummy had to pacify me but I still didn't stop. Although didi never made any noise at the salon, he cried when he reached home throughout the nite. Haiz.

After we reached home. Maternal grandma steam some fish and toufu. These is to symbolise "Nian Nian You Yu" and "Sheng Guan Fa Chai". Next grandma also rub some Chinese biscuit (Pong Bia) on our lips, this is to show that we won't be too greedy next time.









After the ceremony, maternal grandma presented us our new gift. 2 sets of new clothings with cap and socks. Even though we didn't know what this is all about, we don't mind as long as there's new cloths to wear can already.

First Car Ride out to Grandma's house

Izacz : We were so excited on the 19th Aug morning that we can't sleep well on 18th night. We were suppose to visit grandma as well as other relatives at MacPherson.

Riiinnnggggggggggggggg!!!! Mummy's alarm clock broke the silence in the cosy room. Daddy woke up with his groovy eyes (as usual) and mummy already brushed her teeth and preparing to dress us. Daddy promised to let me wear the black color "WILL WORK FOR MILK" t-shirt and Didi got to wear the white color piece. Daddy forgot to take pic of us. Haiz~

By 0800H, we were already in the car with our new car seats given by daddy & mummy's friends. Both of us fall asleep during the journey. I dunno how long it took but again I was woke up by the bark of I think it's called dog. Mummy introduced him to us as Elmo kor kor.

We were place in our new playpen in the living room. Without any further ado, all relatives flock in to see the "SUPERSTARS" with hongpau. Hee! Hee! Guess how much I collected??

Kacey: Grandma's house was praying for the Seventh Month on 19th Aug. As most relatives would be there that day, therefore we were requested to make an appearance. Upon our arrival, we could already see alot of vegeterian food being display, show u the photos later. Then Auntie Feng came, according to grandma, Auntie Feng is very experience in taking care of babies, she placed kor kor and me on our front and let our pi pi faced up!! Kor Kor has the nicest shot on his pi pi. Auntie Feng said that we can train our neck by doing this but advise mummy & daddy not to do it as they do not know how to turn us.

We left grandma's house at 1400H as daddy had to report back to work at 1600H. Poor daddy.
